Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 28, 2026

This page explains what personal data we process when you visit breakout.so or join our waitlist, and what rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

kreativkonnekt GmbH

22309 Hamburg, Germany
Email: hi@breakout.so

See our Imprint for full company details.

2. The short version

  • We collect your email address only if you join the waitlist — with double opt-in.
  • We use no cookies, no analytics, and no tracking on this site.
  • You can withdraw your consent and be deleted from the list at any time.

3. Hosting and server logs

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. When you visit the site, Vercel technically processes connection data (such as your IP address, browser type, and time of access) in server logs to deliver the site securely and reliably. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the secure, stable provision of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We have concluded a data processing agreement with Vercel; transfers to the USA are safeguarded by the EU standard contractual clauses.

4. Waitlist

If you enter your email address to join the waitlist, we store it to inform you about early access and the launch of Breakout. We use a double opt-in process: you first receive a confirmation email, and only after clicking the confirmation link are you subscribed. We record the confirmation status as proof of consent.

The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time — by replying to any of our emails or writing to hi@breakout.so — and we will delete you from the waitlist. Unconfirmed entries are not contacted further. We delete waitlist data once it is no longer needed for the stated purpose or upon your withdrawal.

5. Email delivery

We send waitlist emails via Resend, Inc., 2261 Market Street #5039, San Francisco, CA 94114, USA, which processes your email address on our behalf as a processor. We have concluded a data processing agreement with Resend; transfers to the USA are safeguarded by the EU standard contractual clauses.

6. Cookies, analytics, and tracking

This website sets no cookies, uses no analytics services, and embeds no third-party tracking. Fonts and all other assets are served from our own hosting.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you (Art. 15),
  • rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16),
  • erasure (Art. 17) and restriction of processing (Art. 18),
  • data portability (Art. 20),
  • object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21),
  • withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3)).

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the Hamburg Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (Der Hamburgische Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit), Ludwig-Erhard-Str. 22, 20459 Hamburg, Germany.

8. No automated decision-making

We do not use automated decision-making or profiling on this website.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy as the product evolves — for example, when the Breakout app launches. The current version is always available on this page.
